I'll start by saying this a great coffee maker. With my previous coffee maker it seemed like I was filling up the water reservoir every other time I went for a cup of coffee, but that is no longer a concern. I will say, however, I had serious issues with the adapter included with the coffee maker that connects the 1/4" plastic water line to braided steel line. It leaked horribly in the middle of the adapter which indicates some sort of internal failure. I had to spend more money by replacing this bad part. If you have a braided steel line, I hope you have better luck than I did! After Ordering 4 Kuerog Coffee Pots And Each One Of Them Being More Disappointed Than The Last, I Wasn't Going To Get A Coffee Maker! A Amazon Representative Suggested This Coffee Maker And I Decided To Try It! I'm Happy, I've Had A Few Problems With Small Amount Of Leaking And I Figured I Probably Put In Too Much Water! Yet I'm Basically Happy With It! I'd Rather Keep It Than Send It Back For A New One And Be Without Anything For Weeks! My I-Coffee makes the best coffee and FAST! But Remington has discontinued it. WHY! I've had mine since 2016, and it's still working but I thought, I need to find another to replace it if it goes. Researched lots of coffee makers on how fast it can brew and decided on JavaPod. No coffee makers have spin brew technology. The water needle spins as it's released into the grinds ensuring complete saturation of grinds. I don't understand why no other makers have it ,cause it makes a delicious cup. So I settled on fastest brew time, which it does and price. Remington, if your listening, bring back my I-Coffee or at least sell your technology to another manufactur. Any one have a new, not refurbished I-Coffee, I'm here! put it on Ebay! Our old coffee maker was on the way out, Got tired of Luke warm coffee. So we thought we'd give this one a try. The first one that showed up was missing a few parts so we sent it back. They were prompt to send us another unit. It was fairly easy to set up and use. I have to admit the constant fill feature is an absolute game changer! Not having to fill it up every 4 to 5 cup is awesome. The water line Did vibrate a little, But smoothed out after a couple of days. Now we enjoy a nice Hot cup of coffee.I've included a pic of the first one that was sent.I mistakenly wrote a bad review originally on this pot thinking that it leaked - it does not as long as you don't buy the generic cups from the market to use with your own coffee. It has a cup to fill with coffee but I "needed" another one and I bought one at the market. Then the pot started leaking and being the genius I am I did not connect the 2 together. Then I put in a bad review. I apologize for that. Finally a light went off in the brain and I decided to only use the little cup supplied and voila! no more leaks. It works wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone. You have turn in the valve to fill it up and watch the level so it doesn’t overflow. The auto fill doesn’t work.Still better than having to pull off the water reservoir to fill it and then put it back on the machine. After reading most of the reviews I went ahead and ordered this and let me tell you, I’m so glad I did! It is not loud, it is so quick to warm up and so quick to brew! Because of the reviews I actually counted and it only takes nine seconds to warm up and starts brewing within six seconds from hitting the button. Absolutely stoked with this purchase, ordered two and they both are perfect. Not a single solitary complaint here!Update: Changed from 5 to 2 stars. Completely died after 8 months. I’m glad I never installed the water line. This is the second off-brand K-cup machine that has died on me. I’ve now gone back to Keurig.Original review: Simply put, this thing is pretty awesome. It’s much faster to brew than the cheaper Chinese models that are all over on here (about 30s). It looks nice. It has a pretty good size reservoir. But the best thing is you can hook it into the water line that feeds your fridge for endless water - it even comes with all the parts for this too! Check the price on the branded K brewers that support a water line, and then just come back and buy this. :)I'm changing from my original review. A few months in I starting having issues with the float valve in this unit (the one that stops it from overflowing when it's full and you're using the filling tube hookup). As you can imagine it made quite the mess. The input of it started leaking no matter how I cut and re-attach the tube, so it was a constant drip that went unnoticed until there was literally a puddle in the middle of the carpeted floor. Then I re-seated the line and it happened again. Reseated and it happened again. I finally got to the point where I printed a 3D print to catch those drips because otherwise it was completely unusable. Support did not respond to any inquiries I sent them about the tube issue. Then a few weeks ago the float valve completely failed, leading to a MUCH bigger flooding issue because it went overnight and put many many gallons onto the floor of the area with the machine. I'll probably end up pulling out the rugs in there because it was so soaked I'm not sure if it will ever dry.I've tried to reach out to their support multiple times about these issues and am not having any success. I've used their online form and gotten no response. I've emailed their support email address and gotten no response.I would avoid this machine, especially if you plan on using the filling line. They don't seem to be able to live up to the warranty they gave with this product.Product failed 6 months after purchase, outside of Amazon's return window.Despite repeated e-mail messages, the submission of a video confirming failure of the device and daily phone messages over a 2 week period, there has been no response from Drinkpod.I believe it is irresponsible of Amazon to continue selling a product for which there is no customer support....this company's merchandise should be delisted immediately! After many years, our Mixpresso, which we loved, kicked the can. I looked to buy another exact model but saw that it is now priced at $165! No way. I found this JavaPod k-cup single coffee maker and decided to buy it at $125. When it arrived, we realized it is EXACTLY like our beloved Mixpresso coffee maker but $40 cheaper. If you need a replacement Mixpresso, don’t waste $40, get this one instead and save a few bucks. After about a week the machine only produces a small cup of coffee on every setting. It is loud and vibrates, I would say there is a flaw in the design of this coffee maker. I only purchased it to use as a stop gap between needing a coffee maker and buying an automatic espresso machine, hoping it would work for 6 months or so...but it just turned out to be a waste of money. I would have returned it but I'm in the process of moving so it never got unpacked until it was too late to return. This machine is easy to plumb into your waterline so you never have to fill the tank manually again. The unit is compact, nicely made and looks to better than a Keurig, in my opinion. It certainly makes better coffee than the Keurig I returned or the replacement Keurig sent to me, after weeks of debating that their newest model didn’t work properly. When the replacement arrived, I gave it away. Love this machine and would absolutely buy again. Great coffee, great value and well made at a great price. Doesn’t make. 12 oz cup but I’m fine with a smaller better serve. I would buy again and highly recommend.
