This came in handy on a trip to a hotel that did not have coffee pots in the rooms. You still have to have a travel hot water pot with you to heat up water and a container of your favorite coffee grounds, but this is a good little mug in a pinch if your room doesn't offer in-room coffee or you don't like what they offer. I'd recommend it and glad I have it.I like single serve style coffee makers and after going through 3 different ones of the electric pod style, I happily ordered this one for everyday use. Trouble is, filtering has slowed considerably. Maybe it's because I do not have a dishwasher and the holes are clogging. DW might clean it better. It is good quality, though.I travel all the time and coffee is a requirement. This is perfect! Airtight seal, perfect fine mesh filter, solid cup. It's awesome. You'll wait in line 10 times longer at Starbucks.When I first received this product, I was so disappointed that I requested a refund, as I THOUGHT the lid didn't fit properly; HOWEVER, it was totally user error on my side!! I have since come to love this travel coffee mug not just for when I'm actually out of town so I can make my pour-over anytime, but I use the container and lid all the time for drinks in the car. The lid is totally spill-proof and this keeps liquids hotter longer than ANY of my multiple other thermal cups. Love this product and will be buying it as Christmas gifts for my coffee-loving friends and family!It works. No grinds in the coffee and the coffee taste good. No complaints. If they had a bigger size it would be even better.I never write reviews on any products I purchase but, I found myself loving this product so much I had to write a review. It's convenient and super easy-to-use no directions needed. Best part it keeps my coffee warm for hours. Hands down the best $18 spent. Thank you!
