Got this for my Aeropress, works great. Just set your desired coarse/fine grind (1-12), slide the handle off, take a big scoop of beans and drop them in the top, then put the handle back on, turn it *clockwise* for about 20 seconds till it stops grinding, then give the whole thing a gentle tap against the counter or something else to loosen up any grounds in the container, unscrew the container at the bottom, dump it in your machine, screw the bottom back on, done. It has a nice and solid feel, which I like, and it gives a very consistent grind. I've used a few $60-80 hand grinders and honestly couldn't say they were any better than this $40 one. There are two downsides which are common for almost any product like this: - It only really holds two scoops of beans. So if you want more than two cups you're going to have to grind multiple times. - You have to turn the handle clockwise, because this is a conical burr grinder (what you want), but conical burrs get damaged if you turn them too much the wrong way. This is mentioned in passing in the manual, they really should emphasize that!
